[s-cars] weird windows

Regarding the window problem, one of the gremlins that this model has is
in the wiring that connects the door to the body. Over many years these
wires break due to many cycles of flexing during door openings. This
can cause all kinds of problems with the power windows, door locks and
all other electrical control switches that are in the door panel. I
haven't seen this on my car, but other owners with high mileage have
posted such problems. It requires either replacing the entire wire
harness or patching the broken wires with solder and shrink tubing. It
can be a time consuming job to check all wires for continuity, but has
to be done to fix the problem.
