[s-cars] Switchblade remote activating lock system to sensitive?

Hi Brent,

Neither switchblade remote for our '99.5 A4 has problems with an
oversensitive lock button. I have several friends and relatives also
with Audis that use the two- or three-button switch blade key fobs and
none of them have that problem either. You're probably best to exchange
the key by the sounds of it.

Just to be clear, what model/year did you actually upgrade, and what
locking system was it equipped with originally?

Oh, and just out of curiosity, are you still running the ACNA Canada web
site?

And sure enough it does work fantastic. I ordered a used one from an online AutoKey store, and the remote works great. The store provided an excellent write-up on how to activate and setup the remote for the basic functions and links to other websites to add more functionality... which all worked great!

With the switchblade remote in my pocket, with pants that are fairly baggy and the remote was the only key in the pocket... the lock gets engaged without being directly bumped or hit! This happened a number of times the other day. Normally this is not an issue as you park your car at your destination and you lock it and go on to where-ever you were going. However, the scenario of working in the garage with the car unlocked, it seems to engage, way too easily.
