Manual transmission is going to be tough.

Saab 9-5 Aero, Audi allroad, Volvo V70, MBZ E class off the top of my head-
only the allroad and the V70R have manuals IIRC.

If you can forego the manual transmission requirement, you should also look
at
the VW Touraeg, BMW X5 and Volvo XC90 as preowned deals.

I don't know what you consider to be decent fuel economy, so I didn't really
take
that into consideration with these recommendations. I'm paying about $18/wk.
for
gas with $2.38/gallon regular, that's great by my standards, but that's also
a tiny
2-seater. :-)

I would look into the Volvo V70R 6-speed and the Audi allroad 6-speed as
your
best options- I don't think you'd be displeased with either.

The VW Passat wagon is definitely another option, but not nearly as nice.
