[s-cars] More S6 ebay items.../No more!

I must have missed those, i've been slacking lately. But I still feel that
Ebay leads should be allowed. First of all, it's allot easier to do a
transaction with Ebay in the sense that you have a better idea of who you
are dealing with and second, most Ebayers have Paypal, which sends real
money with a few clicks. Not that Ebay is fool proof, but I personally like
to buy my parts there and it would be nice to know if a fellow lister is
selling. Besides, most of my parts end up there when they don't sell here.

I think it was the amount of postings... One "hey parting out my car and
posting it on ebay, username "xyz" take a look if you want" would have
attracted less attention.

I've been a member of q-list and S-cars for quite some time, usually as a
lurker if nothing else. I fully respect the wishes of the creator/moderators
in how they want to list to be run. However, I'm personally not fond of the
no-Ebay listings within the forums. If I have an audi car or parts I wish to
unload, I always post it in the classifieds first. In most cases I haven't
sold too much that way, but now and again I do find an enthusiast who makes
a purchase. However, after several tries, or several weeks of inactivity,
the parts end up on ebay where they almost always are sold, usually for a
price that is fair to all. I'd love to post the ebay link here to perhaps
give everyone a fair shot (esp. after posting it in the classifieds with no
luck). I'm a member of several other automotive forums (the local jeep club
of which I'm quite active) and their unwritten rule is you are allowed to
post ebay auction links IF you offered it to the club first, with no
results. Just my .02 worth.
