[s-cars] A/C strength, 93 S4

On my 92S4, by the time my compressor was recycling on-off every
10-20 secs and was recharged, it took 1.5lb of R12 (that's what I was
charged anyway).
With regard to the R134, yes it is not as efficient as the R12 but in
my 2000 Mercedes and 2005 Volvo (both R134) the ac are cold. Just
these last two weeks, we are in the 100s here in SoCal and both of
that car AC are cool. Even my 92S4 is cool (just not as cold as the
other cars). I believe it is more on the design and capacity of the
AC on those car rather than the R12 and R134 difference.
