While changing out a bunch of hydraulic issues (btw: I still haven't got the
right sized o-rings) I was forced to remove the tube between the cross-over
pipe and the intercooler.  

I found oil in there. Dark, black oil! 

I assume it came from the turbo. Not a great amount because the car doesn't
need that much oil between services. BUT, with 200000 miles on the turbo,
should I be shopping for a replacement? Is a bit of oil in the intake
allowable? Is this why I keep buying O2 sensors and spark plugs to pass smog
every other year?
