[s-cars] Front door amp

S-men,
My passenger side front door amp has finally crapped out.  Has anyone had success getting them fixed at their local electronics shop - they can't be that complicated can they?  I suppose I'm in the market for one if someone has a good used one - got the driver's side from Elijah at least 2 years ago and its still working great.  I know, its like so many things (Coils, IR remotes, etc), I should tear the whole system out and get with the new technology.
