[s-cars] Storage for consumables and tools in the S6 Avant

I use a canvas carryall toolbag to lug around all the stuff you 
describe -- tools, pentosin, flares (never used flares in 30+ 
years), gloves, oil, other crap. I keep it just behind the rear 
seat in the wagon, and cover it with the standard luggage shade. 
If I need to move it, hey, it's got handles.

If the car is so loaded that it needs to move, then I put my 18 
cubic foot Yakima box on top. This has worked out pretty well for 
me in my C4 and C5 avants.

I'm not motivated to rip out the stock Bose system...getting 
better sound from an aftermarket system isn't hard, just 
expensive. BTDT, ads plates and separates in my Volvo 745t. And I 
hate how aftermarket systems look in the dash...in the Volvo I 
actually pulled an Alpine CD player out of the dash and put the 
Volvo OEM head unit back in. Sound was great...I just couldn't 
play disks...
