Hmmm, the Gillette on my GTi never changed it's tone, ever.
But then again, when it became an Autocross whore instead of
a daily driver, it rarely saw rain (except wet Auto-X's, needed that
skill this last Divisional, in spades). Car has been gone too long
to remember for sure tho.
