I think Paul meant the //S8 is thus *maybe* 200 lbs HEAVIER.

Though I definatley agree, the S8 drives/feels LIGHTER than my UrS6 Avant.

It's true!! I had no idea! By the time I found out Paul had one, I
had already set up the test drive and secured my financing :-D

ya know it.. :-D

But seriously - agree with Jeff that the power punch of the turbo is
sadly missing, but the lack of turbo lag and instant access to the
power makes up for that.

The S8 is faster than it feels, the UrS feels faster than it is.

For me its a matter of letting Miss Piggie be the most uber miss
piggie she can be: Easy power, effortless (yet still awesome)
handling, comfortable cruising.... and for the sports car urges,
continue to satisfy those with a real sports car (IE nothing over 3000
lbs at the very most) like my Mazdaspeed sprung 06 MX-5 or my upcoming
07 Sky Redline (fingers crossed that its not a pile of gutless,
squealing cr at p like the non-Redline Sky) or my the
someday-to-be-spec-miatated 90 Miata...

If i was limited to one car, I'd keep the UrS6 Avant. What a
fantastic car that is, no doubt. But since I'm not, roll on Miss
UberPiggie :-D Ask me in a year if I still feel the same way :)

Cheers,
Keith
