[s-cars] immanent coil failure/1.8t conversion

Varon:  If you opt for the 1.8t coil pack conversion, I believe there
are now only two options:  DIY using my instructions and 034
Motorsports. Apikol is not in the market on this one (or so I've heard -
check with Brendan to confirm).

On the DIY side, the improvements have been to the connector list,
including a Volvo four pin connector that perfectly substitutes for our
OE POS units.  I have posted about this before.  This is the same
connector that 034 uses to make it completely plug and play.

Dave Dawson on this list has bee running his conversion, under the
cover but without the rubber sealing rings, for over 15,000 miles on his
400+ whp engine.  

I run without the cover but with the sealing rings and had one coil
pack fail in one year. $25.

Car (RS2'd with FMIC and MRC on Bosch RS2 injectors) is running better
than it ever has.

But that's just an opinion.
