[s-cars] immanent coil failure/1.8t conversion

Thanks for all the quick feedback.  I have ordered the kit from 034 (just
don't have time to source all the parts.)

I've had a couple of POS failures, and they were always "digital" in nature
and independent of engine speed and load.  I did have one that worked again
after cooling down, but it failed completely the next day.  I've been
running for the last couple years with a used "2-channel" POS!

The gradual nature of this problem leads me to believe it is a coil.  Of
course, it is possible I have a POS biting the dust, too.  Either way I'm
covered with the 1.8t conversion.

Before Dave F. pioneered the conversion, I was trying to figure out how to
make the stock POS be more reliable (heatsink, cooling fan, mount in airbox,
etc.) or come up with a POS replacement using discrete parts.  

But I'm willing to try a solution that kills two birds with one stone!
