I installed the 3071 in my car as you know, we exchanged a few emails on
your install I think.

absolutely, you should most definitely notice more power at lower boost
levels, the reason is simple, MORE AIR. because the charge air is
cooler at these pressure levels than the stock turbo or even rs2 means
more air volume (CFM) at a given pressure level.

yep. BTDT. I was running the same setup, stock intake snorkel and the
2B hose so I used a small plastic tube to put the WGFV where it fit
better. This causes the valve to back feed pressure through itself,
causing lower than normal peak boost. On my car I'm not running the
stock intake snorkel anymore, nor the airbox for that matter.
