Matt-
The rotor ring is replaced, but the hats are not. If you look at Porsche
993tt, all of the
PCCB equipped Porsches, the euro-spec BMW M cars, the replacement is of the
rotor
ring.

Therefore, I submit that the aluminum rotor hat is not intended to be a
disposable part.
