Taka, Sean and other S-Heads,

Taka, now I'm not sure what has been confirmed. I somehow think I need to find a 323mm rotor, but some net surfing has yielded different information.

Vagparts.com lists the RS2 Caliper carrier as fitting the RS2 322mm x ?? rotor. I have done some internet searching and have found a listing for the RS2 Rotor as being 314x30, which would be great for me at the moment. But which is it, 314 or 322 or both? Anyone know what a true RS2 rotor thickness is and most importantly, if the application on a UrS requires something slightly different, than what is the different version, 314 x XX or 323 x YY or 345 x ZZ?

My ECS Stage 2 kit runs 314x30 Euro A8 rotors($97.5US/rotor x 2=$195US.

Others have mentioned other possibilities:

-US S8 rotors are 323 x 30 - Lucas Calipers (WorldPac $95US/rotor x 2 = $190US)
or
345 x 30 - Brembo Calipers (WorldPac $95US/rotor x 2 = $190US)

-US A8L (00+) - use same combination and part numbers listed for the '02 US S8

Assuming all the above is correct, could the smaller diameter 314mm rotor be used instead of the 323mm S8 & A8 ('02) rotor?

I also found the following:

OEM RS2 Caliper Brackets
Vagparts (8A0 698 125A) - $155US/pair
034 Motorsport (8AO 615 125A) - $225US/pair

Sean also gave me the same part number that 034 lists. Anyone know why Vagparts has a different part number?

Thanks for any and all info.
