it's a proper sports sedan, just not cheap. but fast german sedans are
not cheap. remember, inflation and the weak US dollar.
when i went to munich in 2000, 1 US dollar was worth 1.25 euros.
now, 1 US dollar is worth .79 euros. that's a 37% drop in the value
of the US dollar. that's one reason why gas is so expensive now, and
it's also making german cars and parts more expensive for us.
if you took 37% out of the price of the RS4, it would be $44,240 US,
which is about the price of the biturbo S4 and A6 2.7T in 2000.
