Hap-
In a car as big as the C4, getting a big enough tank shouldn't be a problem.

I know the big windshield washer reservoir is good enough for a 20 min.
track session
at the Glen, but I have no idea with the tracks out west. You can plumb in a
tank like the ones in the STi Spec C (12L) in the trunk- it would basically
sit on top of the gas tank, it would be basically inside the wheelbase, so
no problem with having a lot of weight hanging on the end of the car.

Water injection is very effective at keeping the charge air cool- it's not
gaining power, but avoiding loss of power. How dramatic is the heat soak
when you're sitting? With that huge FMIC, I'd think that you would cool down
pretty quickly.

Is your hood and/or fenders vented? Vents above the turbo and manifold ala
early Audisport cars would work well, as well as venting the fenderwell
liners or the fenders themselves.
