Thks Eric, I figured I was not alone.... It does constantly amaze me how these cars can self heal
... Or is that another word for distraction and tolerance?  I hear you on the more pressing
issues...my list is getting long.

My +ive temp control sometimes does this too.  I don't know about the fan, because I rarely adjust
it manually.  Sometimes a full reboot of the car will fix it, other times I just have to wait for it
to start working on its own.  I've got a spare head unit I've been meaning to swap in, but have had
more pressing issues to deal with.
