The cost of the ticket or attorney's fees could pale in comparison to
other expenses (insurance)
It might not mean points on your license but the insurance company
checks driver's licenses against a database from all states.

And don't be too surprised if the states don't share info.

I'd contact an attorney that specializes in New Jersey moving
violations.
