[s-cars] POLE: wonderful dilema, S4 or Ultrasport?

My wife has an '01 A6 4.2. It is a non-Sport because she didn't want to have 
to worry about curb issues for th efront end and because we do get the 
occasional dump here in Denver. Even at altitude the 300 hp V8 does quite well. The 
overall gas mileage for 95,000 miles of driving has been about 21 mpg. I did 
add Bilstein HDs and H-Sport swaybars because we do use it as our going out car 
that I have to drive and she is somewhat of a leadfoot. The handling with 
those mods is excellent. A couple of O2 sensors and a cooling fan problem have 
yielded a virtually hassle free vehicle. She has no intention of selling this car 
in the forseeable future. HTH
