[s-cars] 1st Gear Whine

The whine is caused by a "galled" 1st gear.
The weak point of many 01E Quattro transmissions is 1st gear. 
It makes a noise but doesn't seem to kill the transmission, although
several people have tried! Info specific to the 1st gear is here:
