I received an 02-026 clutch, and it looks like I fell victim to the wrong
clutch!!! I'll have to take the tranny back down to make sure but jesus,
thank god the car didn't start! I saw Chris Chambers email regarding what
happened to his bell housing after the clutch install.... all I can hope is
that there was no damage on the inside of the transmission when I tried to
start.. I didn't lose a chunk of my bell housing and it seems like when the
car was started, the flywheel didn't travel far enough to generate enough
force to cause harm... crap, looks like I gotta take it all back apart..
Thanks so much for the responses guys.. Looks like I gotta get a refund on
my clutch and have no car for ANOTHER few days until I get the right clutch.
Will keep you posted.
