[s-cars] cold starting problem again

Thanks Dave for your response.
One of the POS units is new. The other one is only 4 years old. I don't think that it is either of the POS units, since one of them would probably give spark to the plugs. None of the plugs are getting power, so maybe it is the switch. What should I read on the input (lower?) side of the POS units? Now that it is running I can check with a VOM on the three terminals, then put it outside again and see what happens to that power. Is that bus bar numbered so that I can find the right power terminal? Do you think that the ignition switch could be sensitive to low temperature, since the problem always goes away with higher temperatures?
Jerry

Jerry: From what you describe, power it NOT getting to either the coils OR the POSs. Since both
the coils and the POSs are powered off the bus-bar No. 15 terminal (under the driver's side knee
bolster) which is switched power, you have to suspect: a) the ignition switch and/or b) the POSs
(the coils are passive and are controlled by the ECU via the POSs)

Hope this helps.
