Teddy-
I would say your acceleration shudder is a sign that your front driveshaft
CV is starting to go. I felt it by the gear shift tunnel- but not the
knob-- so yours may be some other issue. I had to replace mine last year
with one from a Porsche-- With ramps it is a mildly entertaining process-
you have to remove your exhaust system.-- but you do not have to pull your
drive shaft. I did mine in place just removing the front CV joint with a
two jaw puller that I really trust.
