Teddy,

The VAG-COM should give you the load number as you drive it.
This is the output of the MAF.
Fuel pressure should be checked while driving (hard to do) or while idling, 
but apply vacuum and pressure to the regulator alternately and note pressure 
changes.
Check for leaks...I have never had much luck with this procedure, but the 
write up is out there.

Do all of them in any order. They are all pretty simple to do.
