[s-cars] Headliner question

Gentz,

I attempted to reattach the fabric portion of the headliner to the
backing. When I tried I used the appropriate high temp 3m adhesive,
and I spent a considerable time vacuuming up any debris. 

The problem that I experienced is that although I thought I got all 
of the old foam off, I didn't and as soon as I applied the adhesive
and attempted to press the fabric in place more dried pieces of foam
started to appear and balled up.

In the end I hired pros to do it, who subcontracted out the glass
removal and replacement. You could attempt to reattach it and be
much more succesful than I was.

The trim shop charged $228 and the glass shop was I think $60 on top of
that, and this was in July of 2004.

Now there isn't much competition for auto trim in Kalamazoo, so you
may well find a better deal in your area.
