[s-cars] CPS replacement...and fuel filter leak...

Jim,

the fuel filer can leak if when replacing it you neglect to install the

metal seal or re-use the old one. Simple fix is to replace/install a
seal.

No that miniscule droplet won't prevent your car from starting, but
enough fuel could gather and ignite so I'd fix it.

As ot the CPS, splicing in a replacement to the old harness/brakcet
would cost ~$20 in parts. Purchasing an oem CPS is closer to (if I
recall correctly)$280, and add in ~ 1 hour labor.

Where are you at, perhaps someone on the list could lend a hand?
