Tom Green suggestificated:

"Then you are left with a session at Dr. Forgie's engineering philosophy
class "If it ain't broke, it soon will be" or "changing your fuel pump on the
roadside can be fun-not". "

LOL. Hey, I resemble that remark!! Too funny.

On a serious note, the two most common/likely problems of a UrS-car non-start
problem are the cam position sensor and the fuel pump. Both will die on you, with little
or no warning, potentially leaving you stranded in the most inconvenient location,
e.g. at the head of the line on ferry or out in the Tullies so deep, that even the coyotes
use Tom-tom to find their way home.

I posted earlier today a series of links regarding the cam sensor:

The fuel pump can be tested prior to replacement:

Naturally, it could also be the J17 Fuel Pump Relay:

For FP replacement, one procedure is available at Charlie Smith's website:

Hope this helps someone (Brooke?)
