[s-cars] Three questions

I use blue locktite. It is most important to clean off all the old
junk if you don't
replace that bolt. Better to just replace the bolt.
The studs mounting the turbo are 25mm, so it is unlikely you can get
that much
movement straight off the studs without loosening the exhaust somewhere.
Those are very special nuts that hold the turbo on so don't round them
off.
The airbox comes out easily to give more room for working.
You have it correct for checking the belt, Matt. It should twist 90
degrees.
There will be no slack on the tensioning pulley side. If it easily
twists 90
degrees, I think you are saying it will twist more, so it is too
loose. You are
twisting with your thumb and finger and it should be difficult to
twist beyond
90 degrees. The new belt will probably be stiffer and more difficult
to twist.
This is a job you should check three times at least, and have someone
else
looking at it if available. There are few things you can do better
than anyone
else, just things you can do wrong. The best result is to have things
just as
they were before you started with a new belt in place. DIY just gives
you the
opportunity to see other areas that need work while you have the front
open.
