OK - no problem there as the rail is not hooked up yet, I'm thinking about tapping the
banjo bolt or perhaps extra long one with extra banjo fitting, as these are less
expensive to replace if I screw up.
Anyway, looks like the direction I'm headed in will use Aeromotive or similar guage
plumbed into the rail directly.

Yes I did, just make sure that you remove the rail and clean out all the shavings before
installing again. I washed it with hot water, then let it dry.
