[s-cars] power windows stopped working - climate control buttons don't work

Wow, a whole digest of johnny sack emails when I haven't seen one all  
year.  : - )
A lot of questions, too.

The 2 watt instrument cluster bulbs are probably best sourced at
www.autohausaz.com   (cheapest I think)
Input the part # to find them since they are not a URS6 part.  Then  
you will have
some 1.3 watt bulbs for the c/c head.  I think a couple are 2 watt  
also.  Clean
the contacts while there - 3M's stabilant 22 or some Caig Lab deoxit  
is good
for all connectors you come across, especially those exposed to the  
elements.

Usually you get a message right away when you combine, windows, c/c, and
sunroof not working in one post, because a bad ignition switch is the  
cause.
Check yours to make sure that is not it by checking that there is  
nothing on the
key ring except the remote fob and that the key returns from the start  
position
to the run position after start;  smoothly and completely every time.   
It can stay
in start and you will not generally notice the starter is still  
engaged until it
smokes a lot and won't work anymore, or it can return to an intermediate
position that does not energize the windows, c/c circuit, etc.  The  
fix is a new
genuine Audi part from the dealer to install while changing the  
instrument
cluster bulbs.

If it is just the window relay, probably the sunroof wouldn't work,  
but who can
be sure. The relay is in the drivers side kick panel.  That cracked  
trim has to
come off to remove it anyway.  There are lots of cars being parted  
that could
supply the parts - A6 or S6 or probably S4 in the marketplace at  
audifans.

Same source for the power steering hose - pump to steering rack is how I
would describe it - but specific to the URS4 or 6 for this one.
