I will admit, and I'd not seen that thread before, my first reaction on
hearing the timing gear story was "WTF?" Unless it was truly made from a
swiss cheese and paper mache compound, or was pre-damaged out of the box...
C'mon it's an adjustable timing gear, how hard can this be? Steel bolts into
aluminum? Yeah, be smart people, use a torque wrench and or JUST DON'T STRIP
the thing. Arrgh too many boneheads out there with more money than smarts
tossing mail ordered quicky-go-fast parts on their cars these days without
knowing what they are doing.    Why when I was a lad... (he says wandering
off into a cantakerous old man alzheimers haze...)
