[s-cars] Lots of water in footwell & how to remove the carpet

Thanks Tom,

I already have the center console - forward out of the car.

At this point, the carpet seems wedged up and behind the frame where the
radio and the climate control are normally located.

This is on the transmission tunnel approx. where the gas pedal (driver's
side) and bottom of the glove box (passenger side) are located.

I have seen some references online that the carpet is a single piece that
wraps around behind what's left in my car. Some people have said they have
cut the carpet on either side or only on one side in order to remove the
carpet without removing what's left of the center console frame.
