[s-cars] Audi A3 transformers - Anyone know how to activate?

Recently my A3 3.2Q has been sounding more and more like a diesel. The 
increase in noise is associated with a increasingly recalcitrant 
transmission that would change down into first with a thump that had me 
checking the rear view mirror to see what hit me.

So even though the service meisters at my local dealer had assured me it 
was " just the air-pump",  I took it to my favourite Audi guy who 
confirmed that there was a transmission problem, so back to the stealer...

After some diagnostics and a test drive I was informed that the car 
needed a "MEGATRONIC UNIT" !  Convinced that the service rep had simply 
seen the transformers too many times, I asked him what was really wrong.

The stealer insists that my car really does have a megatronic unit.  
However, I have tried talking to it,  throwing my wife out of the car, ( 
a transgression for which I am still paying), and putting both the car 
and myself in jeopardy of launching into a lake, however the car refuses 
to alter shape, self drive, or talk to me.

Anyone got any idea how the Audi transformer feature is activated???

P.S. Thanks to my Audi Certified Warranty, I get a new one for just 
$50.00 bucks.  Wonder if I should buy an extra one to put in the Taureg???
