[s-cars] engine rebuild

All good suggestions, I don't want to make your slippery slope of just
minimal rebuild vs. go whole hog any steeper, but... I would absolutely get
the steering rack rebuilt while the engine was out. It will never be easier,
and it's a pretty nasty job with the engine in.
