A/C stuff is pretty simple. They may or may not be able to successfully
flush the condenser- it depends on the size of the tubes. Did they try? The
"orifice tube" is essentially a restrictor that should be replaced if you
had any crud in the system, in fact you should replace it any time the A/C
sees a major service along with the receiver/dryer. Just make sure they
fully flush the entire system (after removing the orifice tube) at least a
couple times before you install the new parts and refill, and you should be
fine.
I think I have a good R12 condenser lying about if they can't flush yours-
let me know and I'll check the Rossatobin ;-)
