Considering that viscosity breakdown in oil generally results in the oil
getting thinner, you don't have to worry about it getting thicker.
I doubt that 0W40 oil is going to cause issues for you, that's pretty thin
stuff. With an AAN, I would look at electrical connections being corroded
or a failing CPS. I'm sure Scott will
correct me if I'm wrong.
