[s-cars] rear brake caliper carrier

It is possible that some original part numbers have been combined for the same replacement part, but if the parts catalog lists separate part numbers
there is some difference in the two parts significant enough that Audi is not supplying identical parts for these applications. The only way to determine
if the part can be made to work would be to have it to compare.

I suggest that a better way to fix the problem is to repair the original carrier. RockAuto sells replacement carrier slide pins. I am guessing from your description of the problem that the broken part is one of the caliper slide pins is frozen in place with corrosion and broke when removal was attempted.
It can be easily drilled and removed with an easy-out and replaced with a new pin, boot, bolt and lubricant. A preventive maintenance plan will keep this from happening again.
