[urq] Wavy rear valence

It's a length of D-section plastic which fixes under the top section of the
valence.
Double-sided tape doesn't seem to be man enough for the job so I've started
using impact adhesive.

Does anybody know if it's possible to get rid of the waves on the upper
portion (above bumper) of the rear valence?  Mine's just getting worse....
