For those who are planning to remove the brake servo
on the UrQ I can report that the procedure on the US
cars is extrememly easy. I can't spreak for the UK
cars. Last time I did this job is was a mess, mostly
because I disconnected all the brake lines from the
master cylinder. The patient is a 1984 UrQ.

Start by removing the 2 bolts that hold the master
cylinder to the servo. Then reomo the wires to the
master cylinder reservoir cap and disconnect the 2
hydraulic hoses from the top of the servo and allow
them to drain. Remove the 4 bolts that hold the servo
to the firewall bracket. Go under the dash and remove
the clevis on the brake pedal. The important step is
to snap the 2 brake lines out of the plastic holders
on the firewall. This gives you enough room to gently
pull the master cylinder away from the servo. Once
this is complete, simply remove the servo from the
firewall. This is probably obvious to most, but as I
said, in the past I figured I couldn't do the job
without removing the brake lines from the master
cylinder. Not so. As a note, remember to snap the
lines back into the plastic holders at the same time
you are positioning the master cylinder back into the
servo unit. Now to investigate why the servo was
leaking so much.
