under braking
...
but it is something easily checked. If you still gave
the G54 front
brakes and stock wheels there is very little clearance
in there, and
I've had times when I've found interference between
the taped on wheel
weights and the calipers ... usually the first time
after rotating
tires
after buying a new set ... :-(

Just my 2 cents but,don't rule out brake hoses. I had
that issue once on a 4000. The hose looked fine but
had deteriorated on the inside and a small piece of
rubber was acting as a small inline check valve. You
could bleed the brakes no problem,but it would not
allow the line pressure to fully bleed off. Maybe a
sticking or corroded puck? Good luck! I love these
cars.They may not help our intellect but, do wonders
for analytical skills.
