Fuchs are anodised all over - they basically go into a bath so just doing 
one face would be a real pita.

Ronals are painted all over but the front face has a much better finish than 
the rest of the rim. After having a set refinished just on the front face a 
few years ago last summer I had them done again, this time powder coated all 
over - much better.
