[urq] Alternator Q

It appears to be only when the car is hot, as I may be able to go out
and start it right now as i did last night.  The car does not turn
over when hot without a jump, I just get a click.  I have a starter
from another car, are they a PITA to replace?

I have a voltage gauge out of an auxilary panel from a 5000 diff
switch.  Gauges are hooked up but not working, I'll have to look into
that.

Regardless, can I rebuild my alternator or replace it with either of
those?  It's making a clunking sound that I'd like to get rid of, if
for no reason besides sounding better.
