What is this "fuel pump jumper"? Are you talking about replacing the FP
Relay with a jumper wire? Not so sure I'd recommend that myself. If
you wanted to wire the pump so that it was always on for a test, the
wires that power the pump run conveniently near the battery. Many folks
have installed auxiliary relays in the area to ensure the highest
possible voltage to the fuel pump. It is fairly simple to do, you take
the wire that currently drives the pump and use it to energize a relay
coil. You then hook the relay up to provide fused power directly from
the battery to the pump. I'd recommend sizing the wires for the pump
and the fuse to handle 15A. The pump should draw considerably less than
that, but as the pump wears the current required to run it increases.
