I'm in the middle of an '85 restoration and I have owned an '83 since 1994.
I've also owned an '84. Stay the hell away from '83s if you like reliable
wiring. I rewired almost all my '83 over the years and only now is it sort
of reliable. Those Ebay cars may not be projects they may be
soul-destroyers. The amount of rust on the engines lead me to belive that
they have not been driven in a very long time. Just my $0.02. No flames
please.
