Jon,
I have a feeling a new seal kit will not help.
The new pump runs a lot higher pressure than the old system.
I believe the P/N for the steering rack is different because of it.
If you do get the kit might be worth while looking into one for a rack
from a 1990 Audi 90q 20v which ran the higher pressure system.
