[urq] Transfer box

Hi everyone.  
I have an Audi 4k CS Q. My question is, does the
transfer box have its own oil?  or does the same oil
in the main body of the transmission, flow into the
transfer box?  Also, are there clutch plates in the
transfer box??  Thanks in advance.
