[urq] Transfer box

???transfer box????  Are you talking about the center differential?  ... the rear diff?  

I suspect you're talking about the center diff ... the center diff has its own drain plug, but gets oil from the rest of the transaxle ... i.e. there's only one fill hole.  The center differential is just that ... a differential with a dog mechanism for locking.  The IST documents have a pretty good diagram of the drive train on pages 32 & 33 (you can get the IST docs on line from Martin Pajak's website: http://www.quattro.ca/Urq/urq-IST-Introduction.pdf) ... the 4kQ is pretty much the same as an urq ...
