Hi Thomas,
I had the same setup on my car and I did converted it back to the 4 square
165x110mm lamps. I installed 4 Bosch units, in which I installed 100W/65W H4
and 100W H1. With relays, this is a powerful setup, especially since the
Bosch SBQ46 (H4) and SBQ46H (H1) do have the E-code pattern. You can buy the
set of 4 for 250$CAN here in Montreal. I found that these guys are offering
the Bosch units for about the same amount :
http://www.boschlightsandmore.com/price.htm.
However, I have a little reserve about this setup on the urQ: since the
lights are so deep into the body, the side lighting is very poor, compared
to a friend who has installed 4 rounds flush mounted on a 4000q. To overcome
this, I installed 2 additional Bosch driving lights (relayed and triggered
by the high-beams) which I aim towards the side of the car. This is very
helpful when you're going sideways on the snow, or driving (too) fast during
nighttime... not that I do either...:-)
HTH,
Louis-Alain
