For the stock look, the H1/H4 quads, when relayed and 80/100 bulbs installed
will put out great lighting. Of course the sloped and flat Euros will put
out good light as well- especially when relayed and uprated bulbs installed.
G60s are probably the easiest upgraded front brake setu. Although I think
the A4 caliper setup has meit too, as it is lighter, but is only single
piston. That said it does fine stopping a 3400lb car (A4) all day long.
For exotic upgrades that fit under stock wheels, there is I think an AP
caliper, the Sport Q caliper, and the Porsche 968 calipers. If theat is the
route that soudns liek the way to go - other scan chime in on how to make
them works - as I thing all require some creativity with rotors and/or
caliper brackets.
As for the seat - I would think you could pick up a used urq set fairly
cheap. If you have the small bolster seats (normal for '84), this is the
same seat as the CGT and same cushions as the 4kq - single bottom cushion.
The bigger bolster seats have a 3-piece bottom. Have you tried Chris
Semple? I would also think somebody out there has some sets laying around
b/c they swapped in Recaros or something.

Subject: [urq] urq driver seat wanted....
Hey guys... couple of questions.
ok, paid a quick visit to the urq in storage over the weekend just to make
sure she's resting comfortably... and boy she sure is purdy with one
exception. My driver seat is toast. 8-( black leather is pretty bad, small
hole in bolster and the frame is tweaked. What are my options ?
Found a really nice, low mileage replacement in a junker but I would have
to buy the whole car and I already have enough, thank you very much. 8-)
Any leads/ideas ?
Next question: the car is an 84 but has the 4k H1 setup in there right
now. Not very impressive IMHO. I'm thinking I'd almost like to go back to
the stock setup if I could a) find a set and b) get decent lumens out of
them. Am I smoking crack? or if not what should I be looking for ?
Last question: I love the look of the car with the stock Ronals but would
like to throw some better brakes under them. IS the 'g60 my only option ?
Would love something a little flashier.... 8-)
thanks,
tom.
